Partnering with Knight Vision Construction
We recently worked with Knight Vision Construction on a farm fencing project in East Tennessee — the kind of collaboration that comes up regularly when a builder needs fence work handled properly on rural acreage.
The Project
A farm fence built to hold up to actual use on working ground. On acreage the wire is rarely what fails — corner and gate bracing determines whether the fence holds. A weak corner pulls the whole run out of line within a season, and on long runs that is expensive to correct.
Working With Builders and GCs
We self-perform, which matters on a job with a schedule. There is no fence sub to coordinate separately, and on projects involving gates we handle the operator and access control side too — which is usually where fence and electrical subs end up pointing at each other late in a build.

What We Install
- Farm and ranch — woven wire, board fence, high-tensile, split rail. Roughly $12–30 per linear foot installed.
- Wood — privacy, picket, board-on-board, shadowbox.
- Vinyl — low maintenance, HOA-friendly.
- Chain link — galvanized or vinyl-coated, residential through industrial.
- Ornamental aluminum — including pool barrier code compliance.
- Automated gates and access control — self-performed.
Before Any Job Starts
- Confirm the jurisdiction — rules differ by several feet between neighboring towns.
- Call 811 — post holes count as excavation, and private lines to barns and wells are never marked.
- Set posts for the soil — East Tennessee clay works shallow posts out of plumb.
