Before You Call — Common Questions

Hours, service area, what we need from you, and how the process works.

Where are you located?

5482 Hwy 321 N, Lenoir City, TN 37771. We have operated from this area since 1973. Phone: (865) 988-9935.

What are your hours?

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You can request a quote online any time, including weekends, and we will get back to you the next business day.

What areas do you serve?

Ten counties: Knox, Loudon, Blount, Anderson, Roane, Sevier, Monroe, McMinn, Meigs and Rhea.

Is the estimate free?

Yes — free and no obligation. We walk the property, take measurements and give you a firm written price whether you hire us or not.

Can you quote over the phone?

Not accurately, and we would rather say so than guess. Labor is roughly half the cost of a fence and depends on slope, rock, access and where the line actually runs — none of which is knowable from an address. We can give you ballpark ranges on the phone, but the firm number comes after a site visit.

Do I need a permit, and who gets it?

The property owner obtains permits and HOA approvals, and we require a copy of the approved permit before we can install. We will tell you exactly which rules apply to your address — they differ by several feet between neighboring towns here.

How soon can you come out?

Usually within a few days for the estimate. Installation timing varies by season — spring books up fastest. Once scheduled, most residential fences go up in one to three days, plus about three business days beforehand for the 811 utility locate.

Do you handle emergency and storm damage repair?

Yes. Call rather than emailing if a fence is down and it matters — storm work gets triaged by urgency.

Do you do commercial work?

Yes. TN Unlimited Contractor License #54371 with no monetary cap, $6M aggregate bonding, $5M general liability, SAM.gov registered under CAGE 37ZM1. Commercial capabilities.

What should I have ready when you come out?

Helpful but not required: a rough idea of where you want the fence, your survey or plat if you have one, HOA covenant documents, and the locations of anything buried that a utility locate will not mark — irrigation, invisible dog fence, landscape lighting, power to a shed or barn.
