Loudon County Fence Expands Service Area to Meigs and Rhea Counties

LCFence Expands Service Area to Meigs & Rhea Counties

‍

Loudon County Fence now provides full-service fence installation in Meigs County and Rhea County, Tennessee. For over 50 years we have built residential, commercial and agricultural fence across East Tennessee, and this expansion brings that to more farms, homes and businesses.

‍

Communities We Now Serve

‍

Property owners in Decatur, Ten Mile, Georgetown, Dayton, Spring City and Evensville now have access to our full range of fencing services — the same work we do in Knoxville and Loudon County.

‍

Both counties are largely rural, with substantial Watts Bar Lake frontage along the eastern edge and the Cumberland Plateau rising to the west. That mix shapes the work: farm and pasture fence on the valley ground, ornamental aluminum on waterfront lots where the view matters, and stepped or racked runs where the ground climbs.

‍

Fencing for Every Property Type

‍

Residential Fencing

‍

Wood privacy, vinyl, picket and ornamental fencing designed to keep family and pets safe. Our residential fencing services cover the full range.

‍

Farm & Agricultural Fencing

‍

Board fence, split rail, woven wire and high-tensile for livestock and property lines. On long runs, corner and gate bracing is what determines whether the fence holds — not the wire gauge. Farm fence generally runs $12–30 per linear foot installed. Farm fencing services.

‍

Commercial & Industrial Fencing

‍

Chain link, ornamental metal, privacy fencing and access control gates. Commercial fencing services.

What to Know Before You Build

‍

  • Confirm jurisdiction. Tennessee publishes no statewide residential fence code, and Dayton, Spring City and Decatur each administer their own requirements separately from the counties. How the thresholds differ across the region.
  • Set posts for the soil. Expansive clay swells wet and shrinks dry, working shallow posts out of plumb within a few seasons. Why depth and drainage decide it.
  • Know who owns the line. A boundary fence in Tennessee is a partition fence under Code 44-8-202, and where one property is agricultural and the other is not, the non-agricultural owner may file a written disclaimer. Full explanation.
  • Call 811. Post holes count as excavation. On farm ground, private runs to barns, wells and pumps are never marked. Full guide.
