If you watched our video on chain link installation, you saw a fraction of what goes into a good job. Chain link is one of the most versatile and cost-effective options we install across East Tennessee.
For security, affordability and durability together, a professionally installed chain link fence is hard to beat. We have been installing residential, commercial and industrial fence in East Tennessee for over 50 years.
Why Chain Link Is Still the Smart Choice
One 2026 note on price: chain link is steel, and metal tariffs pushed it up considerably more than lumber this year. Wood privacy has been the more price-stable material.
What Actually Determines Whether It Lasts
Post depth and footing, not the fabric. East Tennessee red clay swells wet and shrinks dry, and works shallow posts out of plumb within a few seasons. On sloped or rocky ground, the shortcut of setting a post shallower to avoid rock is what causes leaning later.
We serve Knox, Loudon, Roane, Blount, Anderson, Sevier, McMinn, Monroe, Meigs and Rhea counties. We may not always be the cheapest bid, and post spacing is usually why — wider spacing means fewer posts, a lower price, and a fence that sags sooner.
