From everyone at Loudon County Fence, happy Thanksgiving. Fifty-some years in one corner of East Tennessee means our customers are also our neighbors, and this is the week we say so.
To the homeowners who let our crews into their backyards, the farmers who trusted us with a fence line their livelihood depends on, the general contractors who put us on their bid lists, and the facilities managers who called us when the perimeter mattered: thank you. None of the fifty-plus years happens without you.
Fence work is not indoor work. Our crews dig in clay and rock, in August heat and February cold, and they go home to their own families in these same towns. The reason a Loudon County Fence job still looks right ten years later is the people who built it. We are grateful for them.
If you have family and out-of-town visitors coming, this is a good weekend to walk your fence line before the yard fills up with people, kids and dogs. Look for three things: gates that do not latch cleanly, posts that have started to lean, and gaps at the bottom where the ground has washed. All three are small repairs now and larger ones in the spring.
Winter is a better time to plan a fence than most people think. Schedules are more open than they are in spring, and having the project priced and scheduled in the off-season means the work happens before the yard is needed again. When you are ready, we are here.
Our schedule around the holiday varies year to year. Call (865) 988-9935 or use the online form and we will get back to you with current availability.
It is worth a walk. Look for gates that no longer latch cleanly, posts that have begun to lean, and gaps at the bottom of the fence where soil has washed away. All three are inexpensive to fix early and get more expensive if left through winter.
Yes. Schedules are typically more open in the winter than during the spring rush, and planning the project in the off-season means the fence is finished before the yard is being used again.
